CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

GENTLE HATHA/All Levels (Roxanne Joly)

Mondays: 10h00 a.m. – 11h15 a.m.

Gentle Hatha is a mindful, meditative and healing approach to opening the body with softness. This class is suitable for the beginner and the more experienced. The class incorporates the use of props. A gentle yoga practice will leave you feeling rested, relaxed, balanced and more grounded. The class would not be complete without some of Roxanne’s well-received yoga wisdom!

ALL LEVELS HATHA (Michael Dynie)

Mondays: 5h30 p.m. – 6h45 p.m.

The class is suitable for all levels but those new to yoga should have fair  flexibility and strength. Attention will be brought to the breath to slow and calm the mind. Sequences  are designed to build confidence, focus, heat and stamina.    The sequences offer both an excellent workout and deep relaxation.  The practice will offer interesting and original variations of classic poses. Humour will  always be included!

Mondays: 7h00 p.m. – 8h15 p.m.

Some pranayama and meditation.

Gentle Hatha is a mindful, and meditative and healing approach to opening the body with softness. Students are encouraged to use props and blankets for added support and comfort.  A gentle yoga practice will leave you feeling rested, relaxed, balanced and more grounded. A good class for the beginner.

The yoga wisdom presented in this class will help students bring yoga off the mat into their everyday life. 

Yoga for FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH and FLEXIBILITY (Michael Dynie)

Fridays: 10h30 a.m. – 11h45 a.m.

This class is suitable for all levels but those new to yoga should have fair flexibility and strength. Variations are given to accommodate the different levels of students in the class. The class is perfect for anyone who would like to explore new variations to traditional poses. The sequences are creative. They will help you develop greater awareness and mindfulness of certain imbalances in your energy and in your body. This mindfulness can then be brought into your everyday life. Throughout the practice, preparatory poses and warm-down poses are skillfully selected to ensure a safe and accessible practice for everyone.
